Most often we take the little things for granted.... makes me really wonder about the Earth and all its resources then... its no little thing for sure, but never the less, taken for granted by everyone every single day!
I understand with basic college education that resources are limited against needs which are complex and ever growing... so we have to answer the basic economic question of how these needs must be met with limited resources. We think about the production possibility and all options of expanding that through increasing productivity, technology..etc...
Wonder why people never thought about targeting the other end of the issue...
So needs are complex and growing faster & faster each day... how come the text books never looked at ways that can reduce the rate of those growing needs... is there only one solution to the problem - produce more and more and more each day?!? Or is it that we think its the only solution because those are the only lines in which we are wired to think?
Hmmm....how long before we run out of the resources and make earth 'non-livable'?
